Service Being Provided

After entering into a pre-selection process for this project, JKF were among the shortlist of contractors given the opportunity to price this contract. JKF received written confirmation that they had been selected to carry out the works. The works will take place over several locations within Dunfermline.

Elements of Work

Key elements of work include the initial site clearance. Then several items will be removed from site. These items will include pre cast concrete slabs & steps, street lighting, kerbs, and street name plates.

Pedestrian handrails are to be installed to match existing handrails on site. Site drainage is to be installed, including service ducts, and the renewal of chambers and gullies.

The site will require the creation of pavements, which includes asphalt surfacing, and the laying of new paving slabs and kerbs to create footpaths. Steps taken away at site clearance will also be replaced with new steps.

Lighting to be replaced with new street lighting. There is also a requirement for some wall to be constructed to suit existing brickwork, and the re-installation of site furniture that was removed and stored on site. Laterally, high specification landscaping & planting works will also be completed by the JKF Group.
